Kristýna Šrejberová

I am a creative and experienced teacher of Czech language and literature.
My proficiency and technique of teaching is based on studies at the Pedagogical Faculty of the Charles University in Prague.

I have obtained experience and developed my teaching skills thanks to teaching at grammar and high schools and many methodical seminars during my studies.

My teaching style and approach to teaching is mainly inspired by Critical thinking as it is also very close to my nature.

I have attended the Gymnasium in Broumov from 1993 to 2000. From 2000 to 2007 I studied at the Pedagogical Faculty of the Charles University in Prague (Czech language, Literature and Music at grammar and high school).
I have been attending the Conservatory in Teplice from 2004 to 2007 and attended a 3 months NPK Course for lectors of Czech for Foreigners organised by CIC (The Centre for integration of Foreigners Prague) and The Institute for Language and Preparatory Studies Prague.

I have been teaching Czech for foreigners from 2006 (private tutoring), in 2007 for Monster Worldwide Prague, in 2008 in cooperation with The Institute for Language and Preparatory Studies/ the Intensive Language Course for CIEE and the The Czech Language and Culture Summer Course.

I am taking part in an untraditional course for lectors of Czech for foreigners promoted by AUČCJ and CIC Prague.  I have worked as an external lector for CIEE Prague Intensive Course and UJOP UK Prague Summer school (2008).

I am going to teach the semester and evening course in The Institute for Language and Preparatory Studies.

In future I plan to cooperate more with The Centre for integration of Foreigners Prague and if possible to start my own courses.

My experience extends from one-to-one teaching to teaching groups of up to 15 persons from total beginners to advanced.
My way of teaching is based on the principals of communicative methods and active learning it is my priority to teach Czech aimed on communication skills while taking a stimulative and patient approach and considering the individual needs of the students.
